Today the courtroom seems eager to start. The defense calls Frank Small to the stand, the lawyers are pressured for time since both sides want more time with George Milton (Claire), the defendant. Frank Small’s direct examination was swift and so was the prosecution to ask for a cross-examination. There are giggles throughout the courtroom as a defense lawyer asks for a better view of the witness. “I don't believe that's true” prosecution lawyer, Weldon, says because of what seems to be a fact mix up. Arguments continue as the lawyers and Judge Connors try to fix Frank Smalls story. The courtroom seems to be excited for the defendant to come to the stand. George Milton seems nervous for his examination but sitting at the stand he was confident in his answers and even brought laughter to the court. The order was broken as part of the media team yelled “Murder!”, while George Milton was being sworn in, causing Judge Connors to bang the gavel. Murmurs of “that was great” flooded the courtroom after defense lawyer Alique finished her direct examination of George Milton. When Prosecution lawyer Gretchen asks a repetitive question, all defense lawyers stand in unison and exclaim objections of repetition. Clapping erupts in the courtroom as Prosecution lawyer, Gretchen finishes her cross-examination of Mr. Milton. Following this, the closing statements begin, starting with Defense lawyer Judy. Judy calmly reads her statement, but time is not on her side. Next up, Prosecution Lawyer Helena starts her closing statement. Helena speeds through her closing statement, laying out all of the prosecution's evidence.
