Today the court seemed to be much more concentrated, carefully listening to what the witnesses had to say as the lawyer's fired questions at them. Judy, a defense lawyer, used questions that obviously made the courtroom think. Questions like, don't you think people change over the span of six years, definitely were strong points for defense. Chatter arose as prosecution lawyers called for their second sidebar. As Judy finished her cross-examination the courtroom was impressed by both her and Chuck Long’s (Charlie C.) performance. As Curley Tyler (Beth) said that he didn't know of Lennie Smalls intellectual disability, Judy called an objection pointing out what he mentioned earlier, that he did in fact know about it. The defense lawyer, Charlie T., discussed his plans for questions with the judge, as the courtroom wonders what he's getting at. Did Curley Tyler really care more about vengeance than the well being of his own wife? How will Curley Tyler answer? As prosecution continued to attempt to call a sidebar, the courtroom knew that they were in trouble. As the court was dismissed, people were hurrying to discuss the events that happened today.
