Inside the courtroom today, a witness known as John Tyler was interviewed, who was the boss of Mr. Milton and Mr. Small. John Tyler, who was also the owner of the ranch, was questioned at approximately 9 a.m. He mentioned trying to get a better relationship with his son, Curly Tylers, like any dad would do. John Tyler hires new people to be on the ranch by sending requests for workers whenever he needs more laborers. He met Mr. Milton and Mr. Small when they came to the ranch in the morning. During the meeting John Tyler felt curious and slightly suspicious about these two, particularly their relationship. He noticed that Mr. Milton did all of the talking, while Mr. Small stayed beside him quietly. When Mr. Small did talk, he noticed the scowls that Mr. Milton directed towards him, but John Tyler didn’t think too much of them. He ultimately noticed that Mr. Milton was in control while Mr. Small seemed to be obedient to whatever he was saying. John Tyler also noticed Mr. Milton didn’t treat Mr. Small like another equal person. John Tyler mentioned that he only met them for 20 minutes. It is nearly impossible for someone to be able to judge a person they have only met for a mere twenty minutes with a case of first-degree murder, so the possibility of Mr. Milton being innocent is still available.
