Name: Frank Small

 

Who is he?

  Frank Small is Lennie’s cousin. He is a 43 year old Salinas Valley native who owns a hardware store passed down from his dad.  

 

How is he involved?

  The last time he had seen Lennie before his death was when his mother, otherwise known as Aunt Clara, died. George had offered to take care of Lennie.

  When asked if he thought Lennie was responsible for the death of Curley's wife, he stated that it wasn't for him to decide. Frank claims that during the crime he was at his hardware store. He says George and Lennie were the best of friends and that they cared for other. He states that George pulled the trigger to protect Lennie from going to jail or a warehouse.
